Carter Concrete has reached a milestone event at the current Georgia Tech project. The large cistern for the Clough Undergraduate Learning Commons was completed this week. Able to retain 1.2 Million Gallons of storm water, completion of the cistern is an important step in the progress of the project. A total of 15,000 CY of earth were removed and 2,200 CY of concrete were poured to complete the cistern portion of the work. The concrete frame of the Clough building is on schedule to complete in August. Our client, Turner Construction Company, has provided a superb working environment of safety, organization and productivity. |
